What is a Plug?
It's a Head Start!
Think of a plug as a plant that’s already gotten its start for you. It’s been grown just long enough to build roots and strength, so you can skip the tricky seed stage and plant it straight into your garden or containers. It’s the easiest way to jump right into growing.

Planting & Care

Prep Your Soil or Container-
Use fresh, well-draining soil in containers or loosen soil in garden beds. -
Gently Remove the Plug-
Lightly squeeze the sides of the tray and lift from the base—avoid pulling on the plant. -
Plant at the Right Depth-
Place the plug so the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. -
Water Thoroughly-
Give a good soak right after planting to help roots settle in. -
Give Them Sunlight-
Most plugs prefer full sun, but check plant-specific needs. -
Keep Soil Consistently Moist-
Water regularly while plants are getting established—don’t let them dry out. -
Feed as They Grow-
A light fertilizer after a week or two will help promote strong growth.
