Give your high schooler the chance to learn real floral design skills in this fun, hands on 4-week course!
Students will learn the basics of professional floral design while creating a new project to take home each week. From bud vases and wearable florals to hand tied bouquets and table centerpieces, each class builds on the skills learned the week before.

Maximum of 12 Students
$200 per student for the full 4-week course
Everything needed for class is included in the registration price, including flowers, greenery, containers, floral tools and mechanics used during class, ribbon, wire, tape, and other supplies.
Week 1: Bud Vase Arrangement
Students will learn the foundations of floral design, including line, balance, focal placement, flower care, stem preparation, hydration, sanitation, and how to choose budget friendly flowers.
Take Home Project: A finished bud vase or small jar arrangement.
Week 2: The Wearable Duo
Students will learn how florists create boutonnieres and corsages for events such as prom, homecoming, weddings, and special occasions. We will practice wiring, taping, gluing, structure, and working on a smaller scale.
Take Home Project: A boutonniere or corsage.
Week 3: Hand Tied Presentation Bouquet
Students will learn the spiral stem technique used to create professional hand tied bouquets, along with proper binding and presentation wrapping.
Take Home Project: A finished hand tied bouquet, wrapped and ready to give as a gift or enjoy at home.
Week 4: Table Centerpiece Finale
Students will bring everything together by learning grid design, flower grouping, mass placement, and how to fill a low bowl container.
Take Home Project: A completed floral centerpiece.
No previous floral experience is needed. This class is designed to give high school students a creative outlet while teaching practical skills they can continue using for gifts, events, school activities, future jobs, or simply for fun.
Space is limited to just 12 students, so early registration is encouraged.
