Ready to get your hands in the soil and kick off the growing season with confidence? Join us for our Hands-On Seed Starting Class, the interactive, take-home version of our popular Wednesday seed starting series.
This Saturday class goes beyond the basics. You’ll learn when to start seeds in Alaska, what varieties perform best, and how to set your seedlings up for success—then you’ll put that knowledge into action.
Each attendee will:
Plant a full tray of seeds using Ken’s high-quality seed stock
Learn proper seed starting techniques, timing, and preparation
Get pro tips for successful germination and healthy growth
Take home your planted tray to grow on at home
We’ll cover Alaska-specific growing challenges, intuitive timing, and the materials the pros use—so you leave feeling confident and excited about growing your own food.
